Over the past 10 years, Sam has developed a strong connection with the therapeutic benefits of psilocybin. Discovering the efficacy of this tool in her own healing journey with grief and loss, she was inspired to educate herself on the deeper therapeutic potential of psychedelics, ultimately leading her to work in Oregon’s legal psilocybin industry since its birth in 2023 as one of Bendable’s first employees.

Understanding the importance of trauma-informed work and the need for ongoing integration in the world of psychedelic-resourced therapy, Sam was inspired to pursue her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently seeing clients as she works toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.

When not holding or curating spaces at work (Sam designed the Bendable Services cottage), she enjoys spending time in nature and especially enjoying a cold plunge in the Deschutes whenever possible.
